Yesterday, Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed that she is pregnant with her first child, and now she's announced that she is engaged to the father of her future baby, Brian Hallisay. The couple confirmed the happy baby news to POPSUGAR yesterday with the following statement: "This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together." Jennifer, who is reportedly three months along, began dating Brian a little over a year ago when they reconnected on the set of her Lifetime show, The Client List. The two had previously worked together on Love Bites. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Diane Kruger rocked a shorts suit last night for a party thrown by InStyle. The bash, held inside West Hollywood's London Hotel, brought out other starlets like Jaime King, Lea Michele, and Jordana Brewster. Diane's ensemble was from her pal Jason Wu's resort collection — see what the other celebs wore to InStyle's Summer soirée. Diane had a night with her lady friends after a few fun outings with her main man, Joshua Jackson. They had a sweet day date last week checking out Captain America, as both Josh and Diane gear up for the return of his show Fringe on Sept. 23.
Lauren Conrad was among the celebrity guests who ventured out to LA's Palihouse last night to preview the new shoes from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. She was joined by other celebs like Jordana Brewster, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Maria Menounos, and Shenae Grimes. LC, no stranger to design ventures herself, was decked out in one of Stacey's dresses and her signature "fun bun." Lauren hit the bash, which featured a tree made of shoes, despite being busy lately putting the finishing touches on her own new Paper Crown designs. Lauren's also spending time stocking her website, The Beauty Department, with the latest in hair and makeup trends. A recent posting was about at a hip way to do braids. LC's even ventured into the kitchen to address her cravings for Italian food, attempting to make a carbless pizza.
Yesterday in Hollywood, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt shopped whilst wearing a set of colourful feather hair extensions. The almost always brunette, who typically only varies the amount of highlights she has, isn't known to take many beauty risks, so this look definitely caught my attention. I love a little hair flair now and again, especially if it's something you can clip in and out as easy as a barrette. What do you think of Jennifer's feathers?
New York Fashion Week launched yesterday with shows and events attracting lots of celebs. Rose Byrne looked gorgeous in her pale pink floor length gown at the amFAR gala event, while Karen Elson performed there with her acoustic guitar in a white strapless dress. Inside, Blake Lively showed off her curves in a printed strapless gown, while Alexa Chung also went with a print and some bright red shoes at Christian Siriano's show, where she sat front row alongside Mena Suvari and Gabrielle Union. Celebs also spotted around Fashion Week yesterday included Penn Badgley, Kelly Rowland, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Cat Deeley, Natasha Bedingfield, Jessica Alba, Julianna Margulies and so many more!
James Franco was the man of the evening at Saturday's star-studded Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in LA. He posed with his Spirit of Elysium award and Kirsten Dunst, whom he credited with getting him involved with the organisation back when they worked together on Spider-Man 3. After hitting the red carpet, the stars enjoyed a cocktail hour with a Fatburger Truck, which Nicole Richie was particularly excited about. Jake Gyllenhaal didn't pose on his way into the AOE gala, but once inside he chatted with his friend and fellow godparent to Matilda Ledger, Busy Philipps. The celebrity attendees were treated to a Vogue fashion show featuring six designers and gorgeous hair done by Angus Mitchell Salon in Beverly Hills. Nicole, Rachel Bilson, Scott Caan, Elijah Wood, and more took the stage alongside the kids they work with, and everyone shared their experience working with the amazing organisation. Art of Elysium Heaven Gala is a fantastic event every year, and this one was no exception.
Ben Affleck joked around with his sunglasses-wearing costar from The Town, Jeremy Renner, yesterday afternoon at a BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Reception held in the the Four Seasons Hotel. The duo were fresh off a night spent at Friday's Critics' Choice Awards, where Ben spent a good chunk of the evening kissing and hugging his lovely wife Jennifer Garner. Michelle Williams was a lucky girl in the middle of a director sandwich, as she chatted with Blue Valentine's Derek Cianfrance and The King's Speech's Tom Hooper. Andrew Garfrield got lots of love from his Spider-Man leading lady Emma Stone at the CCAs, but he stayed close to his girlfriend Shannon Woodward, who's also good friends with Robert Pattinson. He was happy to be in the same place as so many of Hollywood's A-List, saying, "It's nice being in a room with such inspiring, wonderful people to talk to." Nicole Kidman, meanwhile, didn't bring her husband Keith Urban, but she was seen animatedly talking with Black Swan mastermind Darren Aronofsky. It was the latest event for the award season regulars, and most will be out again this evening for the Golden Globes — stay tuned later for photos and news from the big show!
Stars from the fashion world, Hollywood, and the art scene came together in LA on Saturday night at the MOCA's Artist's Museum Happening. The evening was sponsored by Chanel Fine Jewelry, and the design house dressed starlets including Mila Kunis, as well as BFF and Baby costars Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth, and Kirsten Dunst for the event. Gwen Stefani also wore Chanel as she walked the carpet hand-in-hand with Gavin Rossdale. Rachel Zoe arrived fashionably late with her own husband, Rodger Berman, and sparked a new round of pregnancy rumours in a dress that appeared to show off a small baby bump. Her former co-worker, Brad Goreski, chatted on the way in, saying that since he and the superstylist have gone their separate ways, he's taking advantage of being his own boss by hitting the gym any time he wants. Stay tuned to today's PopSugar Rush for even more interviews and highlights!

This weekend, the Sex and the City sequel opens across the UK and I can barely contain my excitement. It's been two years since the first movie and I can't wait to catch up with our four favourite New Yorkers. Last night, the premiere took place across the pond in the Big Apple and there was no shortage of glamour. The four main girls were there in gorgeous gowns with plenty of celebrity support. Click through to see who wore what on the red carpet.
Sex and the City 2 premiered in NYC last night with all the gang there to celebrate. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis wore bright dresses by Valentino and Jean Desses, while Cynthia Nixon wore her long black Carolina Herrera gown to both the premiere and afterparty, as did Kim Cattrall in her glittery Naeem Khan number. PopUS was there, noting that SJP spent a long time signing autographs for the impressive amount of fans gathered at Radio City Music Hall before heading to the blue carpet. Kristin chatted about reuniting with her costars in the film, saying it was great fun and that she and SJP actually talk all the time. Willie Garson echoed her sentiment, saying he talks on the phone to SJP almost every day.
John Corbett looked handsome as ever all suited up, and told PopUS that he is planning on spending the Summer away from the crowds and off riding horses at his ranch with Bo Derek. Chris Noth made it a date night too, with his fiance Tara Wilson in a bright blue dress. At the afterparty SJP changed into a black lacy number and held onto hubby Matthew Broderick's hand, while Kristin shimmied into a short silver sparkly dress and chatted happily with Chris.
Jason Lewis, Mario Cantone, Evan Handler and all our favourites from the show walked the blue carpet last night, plus author Candace Bushnell and lots of famous guests. The girls will be in London on Thursday for the UK premiere.
