2013 will go down in beauty history as the year of the It haircut, and we've got plenty of them to choose from. Jennifer Lawrence recently drove the star power of the pixie up a few notches, but there were plenty of pixies before her. Jada Pinkett Smith also knows a thing or two about It haircuts, as she's recently been sporting 2013's edgy style: the undercut. But 2013's first It haircut was somewhere between edgy and sweet, and it was the lob or its sister, the clavicut. Nicole Richie was one of the first ladies to rock this style, and she's kept it all year. All three of these styles are synonymous with 2013, but which was your favorite cut of the year?
We've been obsessing over Julianne Hough's many beauty looks for a while now, and her versatile long bob is one of our favourite things about her. But last night she was at the Boohoo.com event in LA sporting a much longer look. She captioned her new look on Instagram with a variety of hashtags, including #changeisgood and #longhairdon'tcare, and she definitely seems happy with her new lengths. Julianne's extensions seamlessly blend with her shorter layers, and we like how she styled the new length with sideswept layers, but we can't help but miss her lob. What do you think of Julianne with long hair?
British beauties stepped out in London tonight for the British Fashion Awards, and while the gowns were worth gawking at, we couldn't keep our eyes off the stunning beauty looks, too. From Poppy Delevingne's teased hair and flirty lashes to Kate Moss's sexy blowout and glossy pout, see all the style stars' beauty looks up close.
Our Pinterest feed is full of colourful hair inspirations — the pastel, dip-dyed kind — and L'Oréal Professionnel is bringing that look to the salon. The brand is launching Hairchalk, which comes in eight temporary shades like blue, pink, and green. "It allows us to go toward younger women, women who love changes, who aren't necessarily [attracted to colouring]," Ségolène de Noray, marketing director of L'Oréal Professionnel and Essie, told WWD.
The Hairchalk colour fades after two to 10 washes, depending on your hair colour, and will also be available for purchase in salons for at-home treatments. Brand ambassador Alexa Chung showed off her braided look accented with L'Oréal Professionnel's Hairchalk (pictured above) on Instagram. The collection hits European salons this month, while we'll have to wait until March to get it Stateside. Each bottle will retail for £15 and contains up to 10 treatments.
When H&M launched its New Orleans flagship store, style stars Blake Lively and Emma Roberts stepped out to celebrate with the help of The Sunshine Kids, an organisation that provides positive support to children with cancer. Dressed in H&M's Spring 2014 collection and Isabel Marant for H&M, Blake and Emma paired their looks for the masquerade with blonde waves and fresh-faced makeup. Blake opted for a more tousled look with a pink makeup palette for a more casual, cool look.

The most evil of all Disney villains is getting her own MAC Cosmetics line! To coincide with the release of Maleficent, starring bewitching beauty Angelina Jolie, MAC will be releasing an 11-piece collection, WWD reports. The line will include face, eye, lip, and nail products. This is an unprecedented collaboration for MAC, as the company has never done a collection inspired by a motion picture. Keep a lookout for the collection in the Spring, and get excited for Maleficent the film, which releases this Summer.
Last night after an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, Claire Danes stepped out with newly dyed hair. Claire ditched her longtime blonde locks for a strawberry blonde hue, which was only enhanced by her bright red ensemble. The colder months are the perfect time to try out a darker hair colour, and Claire made sure to darken her eyebrows to go with her new look, too. She complemented her new red hair colour with a sexy smoky eye. We're loving this colour swap on the Homeland star, but we want to know what you think!
After days of speculation on whether she cut her hair or not, Jennifer Lawrence debuted her new 'do: an edgy pixie. The Catching Fire actress posted a photo to her Facebook, finally giving us a glimpse at the cut everyone has been buzzing about. She kept the face-framing pieces of hair long, much like the layers in the trendy lob she snipped earlier this year, but the back was left supershort. We love a girl who is fearless when it comes to her hair, but are you a fan of Jennifer's new style?
L'Oréal Paris's newest face was revealed to the world yesterday via Instagram, and now we have a first look at images of Blake Lively announcing her partnership with the brand. "[Blake] has become a beauty icon for a whole generation with her gorgeous gold-dipped hair, luminous gaze and drop-dead smile," Cyril Chapuy, brand global president of L'Oréal Paris, said in a statement. "This strong, charismatic and definitely glowing actress is joining the L'Oréal Paris family. And we're so proud to welcome her." Not surprisingly, Blake will be showcasing her gorgeous features and stunning head of hair in makeup, hair care, and hair color campaigns. And if the image below, released by L'Oréal, is any proof, Blake's style and beauty is one we want to emulate, too.
